Founder of Gnarmaste

Straight up, I love to surf. Nearly 32 years in the water, and surfing has shown me the world and revealed experiences I never could have imagined. Nothing compares to waking up ready to shred — every wave I catch is appreciated, and every wave is singular.

I'm here to spread that stoke, and my vehicle is physical and mental preparation. I've been a certified trainer for 19 years, with a career arc spanning high school athletics to the geriatric population. Today, the majority of my clientele are 25-50 year olds aiming to reach their surf potential.

Consistent continuing education, strong relationships with physical therapists, and learning from my own mistakes have been the cornerstones of my professional success. I'm proud to say I'll be among the first generation of trainers to retire as trainers.

The discipline of my training background and the stoke of surfing caught fire and forged Gnarmaste — a name that illustrates the balance of life in all its facets. My craft is ever evolving, and I'm here to grow with you.

Gnarmaste.

Let us celebrate preparation so the stillness may be that much sweeter. May that quiet mind serve you as the conditions leave your comfort zone.

Gnarmaste strives to saturate the community with ocean-minded respect and enjoyment. With that in mind, please contact us with any opportunity to help improve the condition of this planet. Surfers have a special ability to stoke the fire of enthusiasm for conservation. Why? Our stoke is genuine and radiant.

The spectacle of riding liquid hills in the original soup of life beams across the spectrum of humanity. Stand and be recognized.
